Yields: About 12, 4″ Biscuits

You Will Need: 3/4 Cup Beer or Carbonated Beverage & 1/4 cup vegan butter (Cut vegan butter into smaller pieces)

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease Pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine dry mix & 1/4 cup vegan butter pieces.  Add 3/4 cup beverage. (Lager beer is Mimi’s favorite.) Lightly pat dough into a ball & place on a floured surface.
  3. Roll out dough (or pat down with your hands) until dough is about 1/4 – 1/2 inch thick.  Cut into biscuit shapes. (You can use a cookie cutter or a glass that is turned upside down.) Dip cutter in flour so it doesn’t stick to dough.
  4. Place biscuits onto greased pan.  Bake on center rack of oven for about 8 – 10 minutes (until golden).


Flakey bodacious biscuit… easy as pie (ok easier than pie but still whacked out good).  Mimi’s grandkiddos love these biscuits as a shortbread and top with fruit for an easy, delicious dessert.
